Our Mission: To share the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ with orphaned and vulnerable children and women in the Mpuunge village and the Rakai District in Uganda Africa by first meeting their essential needs and providing a free education!

About Us

Children and Women Support Initiative Uganda is the United States registered 501(c)3 affiliate of Children and Women Support Initiative, a registered community based organization in the Rakia District of the Republic of Uganda. CAWSI was started to create a school for orphaned and vulnerable children as well as supply food, water, and basic life needs for those children and women in the Mpuunge village and around the Rakai district. CAWSI Uganda raises funds cover the costs of food, water, daily needs, and to operate our school Sunrise Academy Nursery and Primary school.
