Executive Director Mugema Jude

Our Executive Director Mugema Jude has been a life long resident of Rakai district. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2002. Since then he has answered God’s call to share God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people within the village and area he has grown up and lives in. Mugema spends his very busy day making sure the Sunrise Academy he helped start, has the buildings and space needed, the children come to school, they have food and water, the teachers are paid, the teachers have what they need to teach, and the children have the supplies they need to learn. He also helps those in the village find the resources they need for daily living, helps teach them about hygiene and other skills, and helps orphaned children find families to help take care of and provide for them. He always gives all the Glory to the Lord and shares God’s love with everyone he encounters. We are so blessed that he happily serves the Lord as his physical hands and feet in Rakai District Uganda!

Board Member Pastor Jason Kemerly

Pastor Jason Kemerly is also from Indiana and was born into a Christian family. He started as a salesman in the Indianapolis Indiana area after college but soon discerned that God was calling him and his wife into ministry. He accepted a call to become the worship minister at Christ’s Church Fort Wayne where he met Keith Layman. There they both, along with some God chosen elders, accepted God’s assignment to turn this spiritual dead church into a body that follows Jesus Christ, is spiritually alive, and actively seeks out the lost of Fort Wayne Indiana. It was during this re-launch period that Jason accepted the calling of becoming the head minister at Christ’s Church Fort Wayne. As a board member Jason provides prayer and spiritual guidance to the team as well as advice as he serves on several other overseas ministries boards.
