Sunrise Academy Nursery And Primary School

Sunrise Academy is a school created and operated by CAWSI to provide education to orphaned and vulnerable children in Rakai Uganda and surrounding areas. All the children attend for free which allows them to receive an education they would not have access to otherwise. Praise God that after a 2 year shut down of schools in Uganda due to Covid, we are finally back in session as of January 2022!

All the children that attended are either orphaned, abandoned, or are living with one parent or surviving relative. The school is in a remote and poor area so many of the children not only receive an education they do not have access to otherwise, but also receive what could be the only meal (lunch) of their day.

At Sunrise, we not only teach them earthly knowledge, but we also share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his love for them as a divine and uniquely created individual who is valuable and loved!

CAWSI does not receive any ongoing support from other organizations, religious ministries, or churches. We rely solely on the blessings God provides to us through donations from people like you!
